WHEREAS pursuant to clause (b) of Subsection (1) of Section 578 of the "Municipal Act", being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1979, the Municipal Council may by by-law stop up and close to traffic a highway or any portion of a highway; . | AND WHEREAS the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam deems it desirable and expedient that certain portions of highway hereinafter described be Stopped up and closed to traffic; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City -O£ Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: le All that portion of road which may be more particularly described as follows: All that portion of Road in Sections 17 and 18, Block 6, North Range 1 East, New Westminster District shown dedicated on Plan 2923B containing an atea of 0.4259 ha shown within the heavy outline on a reference plan certified by Walter E. Frith, British Columbia Land Surveyor, dated the 10th day of September 1981, a copy of which is artached hereto; is hereby stopped up and closed to traffic. 2.
