A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Wall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on March 3rd, 1980 at 7:30 p.m. Wis Worship Mayor G.R. Laking, Aldermen M.D, Gates, J.J. Keryluk, E.W, Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, and L.M. Traboulay in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.N. Pollock, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., Assistant City Engineer L. Melnechenko, P. Eng., City Planner L. Lee, Fire Chlef W.S. Wingrove, Deputy Fire Chief J.N. Boileau, Reereation Director K.J. Taylor, Works & Utilities Superintendent GW. Ulmer and Mrs, D.L. Vyse. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: zoning Publ ie Ilis Worship Mayor G.R. Laking advised the meeting the follewing Hearing: B/L #1723 - proposed By-law to amend the "Ciey of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, City of Pe. Crq. Zoning B/L, 1979 1979, No. 1651" would now be considered. Ho. 1651, Amend. ; B/L, 1979 - By-law No. 17233 (proposed comm. dev, = Westwood To remove the Zone Designation of RS=] new assigned to Lot Ll of & Lougheed), District Lor 380, Group One, Plan 6234, except that portdon lving Southwest of the Lougheed Highway, Plan 10030, New Weseminster Distrier and assipning the Zone Designation of CD (Comprehensive Development) to the suid property. This is the second Public Heaving held on By-law No. 1723 and is necessitated by a change in the arrangement of the budidings on the afte that will see the miltlestorey of flee tower located close to the Nertheast corner of the property rather than the Southeast corner an previously proposed, Mayor Luking introduced Mr. RK. Shewfelt of Teehram Securdtides Ltd., who then spoke to Couned] and the residents present in the sallery advising of the problems they have enccunterced with sedl candi ¢iens and with the placing of majer tenants in the project. tr. Shewfelt advised his firm wished to withdraw the appifeation te change the location of the offiee cower ta the NE corner and asked that the proposed proceed as originally outlined except for some minor modiffeatfona on the other buildings. This met with the unanimous approval fram the mere than sixty persons present at the Hearing, The Public Hearing adjourned at 7:38 p.m
