WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is desirous of cancelling a portion of Road shown dedicated da District Lot 379, Group One, New Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia; AND WHEREAS tha Registered Gwner of the land described in Section 2 of this By-law has agreed to convey th said land to the City in exchange for the lands couprising the portion of Road shown dedicated in District Let 379, Group One, New Westminster District, to be cancelled; AND WHEREAS the "Muniedpal Act" being Chapter 255 of the Revised Statutes of Hritish Columbia, 1960, provides that the Council may by by-law dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such Jands as may be necessary for thepurpose of improving; widening, straightening,’ re-locating or diverting the highway; - ° ROW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, Jn open meeting assembled, enscts as follows: i. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to the Registerea Owner of the land doscvibad in Section 2 of this by-law, those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which’ may be nore, particularly described as follows: ’ (a) All and singular, that certain part, parcel or tract of Jand and premises, situate, lying and being a portion of road in Dirtrict Lot 379, Croup 1, District of New Westminster, Province of British Columbia, according to Plan 3158 deposited, and being more particularly known and described as all that portion of road aforesaid, having an area of 1,618 square meters as shown hatched on a Reference Plan prepared by Ronald G.
