Your Worship,

with the success of Canada Week 1971 a fresh memory,
the Canada Committee has decided to sponsor this
activity for the fourth consecutive year.

It is gratifying to notice how many Canadians during
this special week have taken the time and energy not -
only to honour their country, but even more important,
to look towards their neighbour with greater compre-
hension and respect. this is what we hope to achieve
during Canada Week 1972 on an even greater scale.

Our wish is that Canadians look outward, and attempt
to cast aside the differences which hamper the attain-
ment of national unity and national identity.

Canada Week 1972 will be held from June 26th to July
2nd. Our national holiday, July 1st, will be the
culmination cf a week of special activities, organized
from coast to coast.

The Prime Minister of Canada and the Provincial Premiers

will no doubt agree once again to act as chairman and

co-chairmen respectively. The cooperation of the press,
radio and television has been assured to an even greater

extent than last year.
