Moved by Alderman Wright: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That By-law No. 1650 be read a third time. Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Mayor Campbell asked the City Treasurer to give clarification of By-law No. 1650. The City Clerk advised that the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By~ law, 1978, No. 1628" which is the City's new Zoning By-law, has been quashed by the Courts and is no longer in effect. Arrangements have been made to prepare another new Zoning By-law, identical in its terms to the By-law quashed. The City Clerk reported that he had been advised by the Senior Building Inspector that an application for a Building Permit for an industrial building proposed to be constructed at 2532 Kingsway Avenue had been received and that it appeared this application would be at variance and in conflict with the terms of the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1979, No. 1651". Alderman Keryluk inquired whether or not the procedure belng followed had been approved by the Solicitor and the Clerk advised that it had been.
