V3C 2A8 Dear Carlos: Re: Rezoning 10/92 We are re-submitting our proposal to BCHMC for funding under the 1993 Non-profit Proposal Call Expressions of Interest. We understand that our rezoning is being held at third reading and will require an extension as of June 15, 1993. We would like to extend our rezoning for another year. Please advise us on the costs associated with this request and the necessary municipal procedures we might have to undertake. This year the BCHMC proposal call is requiring letters of support from both the planning department and municipal council. Since this project has received third reading of the by- law and the development pennit has been applied for, we will incorporate the minutes from these council meetings into our proposal submission. However, we still require a letter of support from the planning department for our proposed non-profit housing development located at 2211 Prairie Avenue. Can you write this letter and address it to us? Generally, the areas that BCHMC would like to see addressed in this letter are listed below and have affiliated points assigned to them for evaluation purposes: 1.Does the OCP need to be amended? 2.If the land needs to be rezoned, where is the proposed site in the municipal process? 3.Has the development permit been applied for, if so has the prior to letter been issued? 4 Has the building permit been applied for, if not when can it? §. Does the municipality have a fast tracking process for social housing projects? €.1s there a council policy for encouraging social housing? 7.What is the need for social housing in Port Coquitlam? 8.Does the pianning department support this site tor social housing?
