RE: Dominion Ave. Pavement Repairs

A FAX tender was sent out to five major paving contractors in order to
accurately price the milling and paving of Dominion Ave. Four tenders were
received with the following prices:

1. Jack Cewe $31,551.00
2. Columbia Bitulithic $33,584.00
3. Win Van Paving $33,769.00
4. Imperial Paving $36 ,4 30.00

After reviewing the quotation, it is recommended that Jack Cewe Ltd. be
awarded the contract for the milling and pavement work. The City will be
responsible to shoulder gravel and tie the driveways to match the new asphalt.

A breakdown of the estimated costs are provided for your review.

Milling and repaving $31,551.00
Shoulder Gravelling $ 4,950.00
Matching driveway $ 3,700.00
Road muich $ 6,850.00
