Council indemnities

RECOMMENDATION:
That Section 8 of Bylaw 2341 be waived.

Section 8 of Bylaw 2341 states:

"In the event any member of Council is absent for more than three
consecutive regular Council meetings the indemnity that would
otherwise be due that member shall not be paid to that member. The
provisions of this Section may be waived by unanimous vote of the
remaining members of Council."

As you are aware Alderman Keryluk was in an automobile accident and has been unable
to attend Council meetings, passage of the recommendation will enabie payment to

continue to him.
