Dear Mr. Minister:

RE: Fraser Burrard Hospital Society

At the Council Meeting held February 2, 1987, Council was advised of the
transfer of physical assets of the Eagle Ridge Hospital to the Fraser
Burrard Hospital Society from the Greater Vancouver Regional District,

A report by Alderman Wilkinson, dated January 29, 1987, stated that one of
the major areas of concern to the community is the lack of local
representation on the Board of the Fraser Burrard Hospital Society.

Subsequent to debate the fallowing resolution received unanimous support:

“THAT the City of Port Moody request that the Ministry of
Health increase the number of sitting members of the Fraser
Burrard Hospital Seciety ta provide for the appointment of
a Member at Large to represent the City of Port Mocdy AND THAT
a copy of this report and resolution be forwarded to the Councils
of the District of Coquitlam and the City of Pert Coquitlam."

Your consideration of Council's request, as detailed above, is appreciated
