Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution discussion ensued on
the requirement of hiring two additional firemen at this time.

From the City Clerk, June 20th, 1978 advising of the Notice of
Motion made by Alderman E.W. Mabbett at the June 19th, 1978 Councii
meeting concerning rezoning applications and burning permits.

Due to the absence of Alderman E.W. Mabbett, Alderman M.A. Thompson
asked that discussion of rezoning applications and burring permits be
deferred to the next Council meeting to be held on July 10th, 1978.

From the City Administrator, June 23rd, 1978 advising of the
Canadian Parks and Recreation Conference to be held August 13th, to 17th,
1978 in Vancouver and requesting authority for the Recreation Director
to attend.

That as requested by the City Administrator, June 23rd, 1978 the...
Recreation Director be authorized to attend the Canadian Parks and
Recreation Conference to be held August 13th to 17th, 1978 in Vancouver;

paid by the City.
