SUBJECT: Application for increase in Taxi Tarrif,
by Bel Air Taxi Ltd. and Coquitlam Taxi Ltd.

Dear Sir:

It is our intention to apply to the Motor Carrier
Commission for an increase in rates.

Where our Tarrif reads: "For the first one seventh of

a mile or fraction thereof # 1.00. .

For each additional one seventh mile or fraction there-

of $ .10." ;

We are applying to nave it changed to read: "For the
first one eighth of a mile or fraction thereof 91.00.
For each additional one eighth of a mile or fraction
thereof » .10."

This works out to an increase of approximately 10% in
our rates, and as our present rates nave been in effect since
January 1976, our increase would be in the order of 4% per
annum. ;

Would you please bring this before council, and inform
the Motor Carrier Commission if it meets with your approval.
