Campbell advised the meeting the following ptoposed By-law to amend the "City of Port. Coquitlam Zoning By-law, 1969, No. 918" would now be considered: B/L #1590 - to amend the To rezone (a) Lot 2, Block X, District Lots 255 and 384, Group One, "City of Pt.Coq. Zoning B/L,1969,° Plan 7387, New Westminster District No. 918." By-law No. 1590: (b) Parcel "A", Block X, District Lots 255 and 384, Group One, Plan 24243, New Westminster District from RS-2 (One Family Suburban Residential) to RS-1 (One Family Residential). These properties have the civic addresses of 145 and 1675 Pitt River Road and are located on the east side of Pitt River Road and extend through to Taylor Street. It is expected that approximately 33 residential lots will be completed following completion of the . rezoning procedures. A letter commenting on the rezoning was received from Mr. J.N. Stubbs, 1858 Mercer Place. Mr. Denis Kirk, 1614 Knappen Street spoke on the proposed subdivision a, stating he felt Knappen Street should be made into a cul-de-sac. Mr. A. Travis, 1641 Taylor Street spoke on the necessity of spreading the traffic over a number of streets rather than just one road for access and egress. Mr. R.W. Pollock, 1611 Knappen Street stated he would not like to see property used for a road at the loss of two residential lots.
