A By-law to authorize The Corporation of the City of! AY | 6188 am

to dispose of a portion of Road dedicated on Plans 2674 and 5726, Northwest Quarter
and Northeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 40, New Westminster District in
exchange for sufficient land to re~locate the said road.

‘WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of
cancelling a portion of Road dedicated on Plans 2674. and 5726, Northwest Quarter
and Northeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 40, New Westminster District in -the
City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia;

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter. 255 of the Revised
Statutes of British Columbia, 1960, provides that the Council may by By-law
dispose of any portion of a highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary
for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, re-locating or diverting
the highway;

THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of

Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

1. The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized

to convey to The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, 2272 McAllister Avenue,
Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia, ALL AND SINGULAR that certain
parcel or tract of land and premises which may be more particularly described as
follows:
(a) All that portion of the North West , of Section 6, Township 40, which
portion is shown as dedicated road allowance on Plan 2674 deposited
and may be more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the south-easterly curner of Lot 25 of the said
Plan 2674;
thence, N 89°32"15" E and following a southerly limit of the
said road allowance a distance of 33.0°' more or less to the most
south-easterly corner thereof;
thence, N 0°31'40" W and following the easterly limit of the
said road allowance a distance of 321.25' more or less to the north-
easterly corner thereof;
thence, S 89°37'33" W and following the northerly limit of the

said road allowance a distance of 315.91' to a point thereon;
