Shileumah, April 6th, 1977, being an application for a permit to burn previously cut brush on his Property at 2589 Pitt River Road. Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the application of Mr. R.E. Shileumah, April 6th, 1977, to burn previously cut brush on his property at 2589 Pitt River Road, be Carried. Alderman Ranger voted against the resolution. approved. Prior to passage of the resolution quoted above, Alderman Laking advised of his intention to vote against the granting of such permits after the April burning month had expired. Alderman Ranger advised that the Port Coquitlam Amateur Athletic Association was desirous of obtaining additional storage space for equipment and he suggested that the Association be permitted to use the concession stand located just East of the Robert Hope Pool. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the Port Coquitlam Amateur Athletic Association be permitted to store equipment in the concession stand located just East of Robert Hope Pool; PROVIDED that it is understood and agreed that, the City accepts no responsibility for the articles stored or for any event whatsoever arising out of such use.
