Dear Sir:
Just recent-
ly I had the

unpleasant
experience of
having to go
through the
Kalum Trailer Park.
_‘T cringed at the sight of puppies, lots of
puppies, tied up to a 3-foot leash. 1 saw
these. puppies with no food or water.
'.There obviously was a rash of puppies
born and it seems like every trailer or
second trailer has a poor helpless little
dog chained up, looking sad and helpless
because no one was walking or paying
any. attention to them,

Dear Sir:

This is something I now really believe.
Tt seems as though my previous letter to
the editor ruffled some feathers and hurt
some feelings due to my analogy about
veterinarians.

That is all it was supposed to be, an
analogy and not a personal altack or
E comparison to anyone in the medical
field. A shot in the arm aimed at the
medical system in the province of B.C.
_ Was all. I was trying to accomplish.

In short what I meant was is that a vet
has easier access to equipment to dia-
gnose someone’s pet than our doctors do

’ So Rob Brown’s acquaintance caught
a steelhead according to a recent column.
’ And what was he going to do with it?
Cut it into steaks? Mount it on a wall?
That’s unlike the commercial fisherman,
who has to revive and return this over-

and love, that just irks me and bothers
me. ,

Please help your animal by giving il to
a better home with love. 1 don’t want
these puppies growing up to be discarded.

And yes, this can be frustrating to both
patients and doctors. If I had ever been
given medical attention by a physician
thal I thought was no better than a vet,
there is no way I would have gone back
to said physician three or more times. In
fact, 1 would have been looking for a new
one after the first visit. So if my analogy
hurt, or was taken as a personal altack by
anyone in the medical field | apologize
publicly from the bottom of my heart.

deep water. No retention of steelhead.

So 1 hope Rob Brown’s friend enjoys
