Procedure: Exempt staff would pay for the course(s) to be taken and 100% of the cost of the program will be reimbursed to the employee upon successful completion of the course. Exempt staf£ will. reimburse the City for the cost of the program if they leave the employ of the City. The amount payable to the Clty upon termination of employment shall be reduced by 1/36th of the original amount on the firat day of each month following completion of the program or portion thereof. Reimbursement shall not be made to the City for courses costing under $500.00. Exempt staff will not attend any conferences during the period they are participating in programs governed by this policy. Eligible Costs: TuLtion and books.
