SUBJECT: Annual Vehicle Replacement Program

It is recommenced that tle Public Works Committee approve the last
Selection of the 1990 year for the replacement of Trades Department flat deck
(EQ1210) and that the Committee, approve in principal, the expenditure of
$25,447.86 from the Equipment Replacement Fund for this purchase.

Tenders were accepted from three local dealers. Vehicle tender prices and
a list of dealers are submitted for review, as follows:

Pacific GMC $25,447.86
Vancouver Hino $26,331.90
Metro Motors $27,381.30

A complete review of the specifications have been completed by the
Mechanical Foreman who recommends the purchase of the lowest tenderer, Pacific
GMC.

I have reviewed the Equipment Reserve Fund and find adequate funds are
available for this purchase. .
