That Council reverse its decision of October 2, 1988 prohibiting residents from placing their burnable garden wastes out for pick-up with their normal domestic garbage. That an advertisement be placed in the city newsletter advising residents that backyard burming is prohibited and that garden wastes intended for back yard burning may be placed with their regular domestic garbage for pick-up by City crews effective January Ist, 1989. From the Director of Community Planning, February 9th, 1989 regarding Development Variance Permit No. 7/89 for 1252 Kensington Place. Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That City Council direct the Clerk's Office to notify surrounding property owners about this application and to place a resolution on a subsequent agenda of Council. The resolution would be to authorize construction of a deck foundation encroaching 0.16 metres into the rear yard setback, Zoning Bylaw Mo. 2240 Section 801, Large Lot Residential, Subsection (7) Rear Yard Setback for Lot 102, D.L. 341, NWLD Plan 75512 Carried. From the Director of Community Planning, February 14th, 1989 regarding Mandatory Development Permit B.C. Hydro Substation Subdivision. Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That City Council approve issuing a mandatory development permit to remainder of Lot 4, Section 17 and 18, Block 4, North Range 1 East, NWLD Plan 8850 to allow subdivision of the property into two parcels of land.
