V3C 2A8 Dear Mr. Re: Lease of Court Space Justice Building 3000 Christmas Way Following receipt of your Municipal Clerk's letter dated January 15th, 1982, I entered into negotiations with British Columbia Buildings Corporation. A copy of the correspondence exchanged in that regard is attached hereto and represented by letters as follows: -from myself to the Corporation dated 1982 January 19, -from the Corporation to me dated March 11, 1982, and -from the Corporation to me dated 1982 03 28, Firstly, you will note that the Corporation is prepared to pay $9.50 per square foot per annum for a monthly rental of $4,948.71 effective April 1, 1982. That rate is slightly over the targét rate which I had in mind. Secondly, although the Corporation understands that the month to month tenancy which we offered is limited to a period of six: months commencing April 1, 1982, they have expressed the desire for a further extension of the tenancy for a further three months to December 31, 1982, In the latter regard, the Corporation's representative informed me that the extra three months, if allowed them, would greatly assist them and on that basis I agreed to recommend the same.
