A By-law to authorize The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam

to dispose of a portion of Road shown dedicated on Plan 257, of the
Northwest Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District in
exchange for sufficient land to re~locate the said road.

NHERFAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous
of cancelling a portion of Road shown dedicated on Plan 257, of the
Northwest Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District in
the City of Port Coquitlan, in the Province of British Columbia;

AND_WHERFAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2
of this By-law has agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange
for the lands comprising the portion o. Road shown dedicated on Plan 257
of the Northwest Quarter, Section 7, Township 40, New Westminster District,

to be cancelled;

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revise
Statutes of British Columbia, 1979, provides that the Council may by By~
law dispose of any portion of a highvay in exchange for such lands as
may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening,
re-locating or diverting the highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City

of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
i. . The Cor pe ration of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized
fo convey to the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of
this By-law, ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel of tract of land and
premises which may be more particularly described as follows:

All that portion of road shown dedicated on Plan 257 of the

Northwest Quarter, Sectilon 7, Township 40, New Westminster District

shown hatched on a Reference Plan prepared by D.J. Dyck, B.C.L.S.

and dated the

at or for the price or sum of Thirty-one Thousand, Five Hundred Eighty-two

Dollars ($31,582.00) and in exchange for those certain parcels or tracts

of land deseribed tn-‘the next Section hereof,
