te ea a eter practi nng etn ey Rae! oe d S Bee PR Pe August 22nd, 1977 That as recommended in a report from the Leisure Activities Committee, August 17th, 1977, the following admission rates for public skating, be approved: Child.. - 40¢ Senior. - 40¢ Teen... - 60¢ Adult.. - 85¢ Prior to consideration of the foregoing proposed resoiution, Alderman Leaking expressed concern that the rates proposed may not have been increased sufficiently to meet rising costs of operation, and Alderman Mabbett suggested that as the rate of 60¢ for teens was not increased from that previously used, 5¢ be added thereto for a total of 65¢. Moved by Alderman Mabbett: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the foregoing proposed resolution be amended by increasing the admission rate of teens for prvblic skating from 60¢ to 65¢, and adding the words: "AND THAT the admission rate of teens for public swimming (indoor) be increased from 60¢ to 65¢."" at the end thereof. Carried. Alderman Keryluk voted against the resolution. The question was then called on the original motion of Aldermen. Carried From the City Administrator, August 17th, 1977, advising that the City Adm.re attendance - City Engineer has requested permission to attend the Annual Meeting of City Engineer-~ Ann.Meeting- the Association of Professional Engineers to be held this year in Victoria, Ass'n.Profes- sional Engrs. October 27th to 29th, 1977, as this year's programme includes a number of papers on municipal engineering and transportation which would be of interest to the City.
