in that. area, and pointing out that a similar request | was made in 1971. when
the Council agreed to provide water to that: area ; _ however , nothing further

transpired at that time; also, another request was made in 1972 on the basis

of a potential public health problem, and in 1973 the City agreed to provide

‘Limited domestic water service to all existing residences of the District. 5

_The Committee, in its report, advised that a further request for one additional
connection to prodde domestic water service toa proposed dog kennel was turned

down.

Hr. Ross Dunbar , attend a. Fire Prevention Seminar ein Teast, June 3 3rd ato 7th,
1974, and commenting that Hr. Dunbar, who is on the Executive of the: Fire
Prevention officers Association, has taken en active part 4 in “the organize-

tion and attended the Seminar last year.
