(Radar 128) CRIMINAL CODE (Traffic) 17 PARKING VIOLATIONS al TOTAL 255 GENERAL, COMMENTS ON LOCAL CRIMINAL AND DRUG ACTIVITIESs During the month of February, twenty persons were charged for various offences under the Narcotic Control Aet. Broken downs seventeen were charged with innumerable offences Anvolving soft drugs, and in all, approximately 8 pounds of mayihuan- and six plants were seized during searches. Three persons have been charged with offencea involving heroin. There were several offences against a person comaitted during the month and these included one attempted rape, one attempted abdution, several indecent exposures at various locations throughout the area and several purse snatchings. In so far as these are concerned, the person was arrested in connection with the akduction and one youth was arrested in connection with at least five or six purss snatchings. The problem of thefts fron underground parking lots still appears to be prevalent and whereas at present three arrests have been effected which directly involved persons being caught in the act of stealing from these areas, this type of offence still demands a considerable amount of attention, lan Detachnent (7.E.8.)
