Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Laking: ‘That the reports of the Finance Committee, dated October 31st, November 4th, ind November 15th, 1973, recommending payment of Accounts totalling $144,635.59, $48,800.21, and $66,633.00, respectively, be approved. Carried. Prior to passage of tu: foregoing resolution, Alderman Traboulay drew atten- tion to listing No. 6222 in the November 4th, 1973 Statement concerning the sum of $4,213.68 to the Greater Vancouver Regional District for debt repayment, and stated his view that the District should submit full details of its Provisional Budget, in- cluding salaries, pulldings, stipends paid to the Chairman,etc.,to the Council. Alderman Ranger stated he felt Alderman Traboulay had misconstrued the reason for the listing, and pointed out that the item in question concerns a debt repayment for borrowing. Alderman Traboulay stated he was trying to point out that the Dis- trict is a body responsible to the public, and that it should inform the Council in order that the Council can, in turn, inform the public, on what is being done with funds paid to it. Comm.,~Appin Application R#1&-73 to rezone a parcel of land at 780 Prairie Avenue from A-1 R#18-73 (Agricultural) to RS~1 (One-Family Residential) to permit a subdivision of the pro- perty into three lots for residential ‘construction be not approved due to the fact that it 1s flood~plain land.
