The Western Canadian Turf Grass Association is holding a conference at Harrison Hot Springs, February 20th to 22nd, 1978, would like to send our Parks Foreman, Mr. A. A number of Lower Mainland Fire Departments are taking advantage of a Training Programme provided by the Washington State Fire Service. Their courses are primarily Administration or Management oriented but do include firefighting tactics and fire service operations. We would like to send the Deputy Fire Chief, Jim Boileau, to one of their schools, which runs from April 3rd to Sth, 1978. travelling and accommodation. The cost of the course is $60.00 pius Jin is at the present time taking a night school course in Administration on his own time and I feel that this course ( F Ed might supplement what he has learned as it is oriented towards Fire Department operation.
