Workshops REVIEW - ROBIN HOPPER WORKSHOP Nearly 100 pottere gathered at Pearson College in Victoria during the last Mareh week-end to partietpate tn Robin's work- shop. Potters flocked from Powell River, Bellingham, Kamloops, Pemberton, Vameouver and the Guif ITalands. The trip was well worth it, as Robin apent two days in perpetual motton. His dedieation to hia work and hig enthuataam for furthering a knowledge of pote, gave each of ua a generous shot of tncenttve to continue with our own work. Robin's favortte eubjeet concerns all types of eurface enplehment, especially colour through the use of glases, oxidea, elays and alipe. Fram his vast alide library he selected a eapsule "Ceramie Hietory" show, which emphasised mai's decora- tive explorations during the last 8,000 years. We also sav his contemporary "Canadian Ceramiats" slides which he presented last year on Ate travels throughout New Zealand and Australia, fobtn prateed the present caliber of Canadian ceramica, saying that as a country, we could hold our own in the world of pote.
