It’s usual- ly held every third Wed- nesday of the month. © The dinner is held to honour veterans, spouses and widows. At this partic- ular dinner, the members honoured Comrade Bill Bennett, Bill, who celebrated his 95th birthday on October 15, is likely this legion’s oldest member. Bill Bennett was among the Canadians who landed in-Sicily, July 10, 1942 as part of the Seaforth High- landers. He was among the first wave of troops to land. Bill veteran of Branch 13 is a remarkable man at 95 years and a very dear friend. Happy 95th and conti- nuing good health, Bill! Also attending the din- ner from Dept of Veterans Affairs/Prince George was Charlotte Khan.
