stop changing their shows
around on a Jast minute:
basis, How many of you were
sitting down to’ watch the
wonderful Mitchell, only to
find that they presented
Gumball Rally instead?
Anyway, [ hope you enjoyed
it, aS I did not take the time
to, watch ‘it.

Unless BCTV is poing to -
delete and change, there are
a couple of good movies on
Saturday. The first is the
Academy Performance on at
p.m. entitled Ishi. This 1978
documentary-drama release
is a factual tale of North
America's last wild Indian.
It traces his life, through
chronicles, from childhood,
his survival in the wilder-

ness, his exposure to the
American way of life, and his
death in 1916. This is a truly
remarkable story, as | have
seen it, and thoroughly
enjoyed it.

The Late Show on
Saturday, same channel, at
12:05 a.m. is Walking Tall.

‘This show does not need

much of an introduction as
either you've “seen it or

‘someone has told you about

it. If not, this 1973 release

tells the story of a one-man

battle to clean up the
prostitution, gambling - and

‘everyday lawlessness of his
‘Tennessee - lown, Tragedy.
‘strikes him over. and over,

but he relentlessly pursues
his goal. This is a long one,
clocked at 2%, hours.
