Dear Sir:

Further to our meeting today, I request that the City
undertake to connect the catch basin between 2116 and 2120
Salisbury Avenue to the recently constructed storm sewer on
Street. This catch basin is a “soak away" and has never
the water when heavy rainfall occurs. Several problems that

accur are:

down the driveway into
silting & sand

clogging of tile

this same overflow is now so excessive that
the stepwell of that house and floods the

. 3) The water in the "lake" extends to the center of the
road, forcing pedestrians (including school children) to share a
ow portion of road with cars— (very close to the .
rsection).

4) Riders have £ fallen when their bikes hit the deep water.

_.'§) Large waves are thrown by cars (travelling in’ both
directions). .

| 6) Brakes of vehicles are soaked as they appr ach the stop
sign (less than 60 feet away). | oe

7) The lake is getting larger as the ground sinks in the
‘vicinity of the: catch basin. _ .

- 8) Sand baggi ing the driveway prevents cars from entering the
property (and mus ¢ be: “costly to. the city to continue provi iding).
