That the Greater Vancouver Water District Water Shortage Response Pian dated july 20, 1992
be received by Council for information.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

As shown on the attached report, the daily consumption in the Greater Vancouver Water District
area has been reduced from over 300 million gallons per day to approximately 225 million

galions per day since the sprinkling ban came into effect.

The G.V.W.D. is recommending that the sprinkling ban continue into August,
