Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Keryiuk: WHEREAS the lands hereinafter deseribed are not required for municipal purposes nor are they reserved or dedicated; NOW THEREFORE be it resolved that: 1.(a)Lots 89 & 90, District Lot 289, Plan 16702; (b)Lots 91 & 92, District Lot 289, Plan 19019; (c)Lot 1, District Lot 289, Plan 71092; (d)Portion of lane allowance intended to be cancelled. all in the New Weatminster District, Port Coquitlam, B.C. be sold by tender if a bid acceptable to Council is received; 2. The City Clerk is hereby instructed and authorized to publish and poat the “Real Property for Sale by Tender” Notice appearing ia the Agenda decuments of this Council meeting; The terms and conditions contained therein are hereby approved; The City Clerk carry out the procedures set out therein. Council reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject all of the bids 41f Council in its absolute discretion determines that rejection is appropriate. THAT the proceeds for the land sale which were purchased from the Parks pec fund be returned to that fund and used for the purchase of land, any proceeds exceeding the original purchase price will be deemed interest which must still be returned to the Parks DCC fund but which may be used to develop park land. AND THAT funds be taken from the interest to develop two new tennis courts at the Reeve Street Park. Carried. Alderman Stewart and Gates voted against the resolution
