Encroachment Agreement at
2552 Shaughnessy St.

That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to endorse an
encroachment Agreement for Parcel A, Plan 24312 the civic
address of 2552 Shaughnessy St. being the European Bakery.

COMMENTS :

The owner’s Engineer made an alteration to the building plan
installing a landing insufficient in width and allowing a door
swinging over landing and a riser. An immediate solution would

be to recess the exit doors into the building thereby creating a
landing of adequate dimensions, however doing so creating a very
substantial expense. Proposed recommendation by the owner,
Engineer and endorsed by the Public Safety Committee meeting of
November 98, 1988 that an approximate one foot, two inch
projection of a new landing be allowed. The owner’s Engineer

further agrees to widen the sidewalk at the affected area to the
City Engineer’s requirements.
