Brown Director of Community Planning Mr. & Mrss Kroeker's Woodshed RECOMMENDATION: That the Restrictive Covenant requiring the Woodshed be relocated be cancelled. COMMENTS: As part of the City's purchase of a portion of the Kroeker property, road widening was taken to provide for a future extension of Guest Street. Subsequently, the subdivision pattern has been altered slightly and it is no tonger necessary to construct this road, except as a park access driveway. The Kroeker'ts are requesting authorisation-to remove part of their woodshed, providing a 1.2 metre (4 foot) sideyard setback. As the woodshed will be behind .a chaintink fence, it. will not affect the road. In addition, with the role of the road now being reduced to being a park access driveway, it will not have to be constructed to a full standard. Consequently, it is recommended that the Kroekers! be permitted to keep their woodshed and the restrictive covenant be removed. FILE: PD-0004-0010
