RE: Elks Club Parking

RECOMMENDATION:

That the Mayor and Clerk be authorised to endorse an agreement
with the Elks Club to permit rental of 7 off site parking
stalls from the City.

COMMENTS:

The Elks Club in renovating the old B.C. Telephone Building for
their meeting hall require more parking stalls that can be
provided on site. To assist the Club it has been suggested
they rent the additional stalls from the City. The Club
officers have endorsed the parking rental agreement.

A second element of this report is a recommendation that an
additiona! parking stall be given to the Club. This is to :
convert one stall in their lot to landscaping. The reason for

relocating a stall is to improve appearance of the parking lots :
In this vicinity.
