Policy on Fees & Charges

Rental of Buildings, Grounds and Other Facilities

1. That playgrounds, playfields, picnic areas and tennis
courts be considered a basic service and that no charge
be made for their use as long as there is no admission
charged and/or exclusive use required.

That there be a charge for exclusive group use of tennis
courts, playing fields, picnic areas and other facilities

for organized activity.

That there be a charge for firewood for groups booking)
Lions Park and requiring firewood.

The policy of reciprocal use of the school and recreation
facilities by the Recreation Department be continued, there
being no charge for such use providing in each case there
be no out-of-pocket costs for maintenance or supervision.

That rental rates be established at a lower level for non-
profit recreation and service groups than .for commercial

or private groups.
