February 4th, 1980. A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on February 4th, 1980 at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking, Aldermen M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, E.W. Mabbett, P.F. Ranger, L.M. Traboulay and M.R. Wright in attendance. Also in attendance were Chief Administrative Officer L.D. Pollock, City Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., City Planner L. Lee, Fire Chief W.S. Wingrove, Deputy Fire Chief J.N. Bolleau, Recreation Director K.J. Taylor, Works & Utilities Superintendent G.W. Ulmer and Mrs. D.L. Vyse. His Worship Mayor G.R. Laking iutroduced the 5th Boy Scout Group and welcomed them to the Council meeting. BY-LAWS: The City Clerk advised By-!aw No. 1726 is available for Final No. 1726 ~ S reading and advised receipt of a memurandum from Mrs. Kathleen Muldoon R/W Acq. auth regirding By-law No. 1726. Final ide - Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Wright: That By~law No. 1726 be reconsidered, finally passed and adopted. Carried, Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Traboulay suggested Mrs. Kathleen Muldoon be given an opportunity to speak to Council and Alderman Mabbett agreed. Alderman Ranger stated In his opinion unless Council wished to make an amendment to By-law No. 1726 he felt enough dlscussion had been held. Mayor Laking ruled Mrs. Muldoon would be given the opportunity to speak to Council for ten minutes.
