SEAFEST ’90 - a sports fest Prince Rupert was the sports capital of the north on June 9 weekend when numerous events were held in conjunction with Seafest ’90 celebrations. The most difficult event was Farwest Sports’ annual triathlon which drew a record number of competitors — 13 individuals and 31 three-person teams. Hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 5 p.m. until dusk, and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. til dusk. Keith encourages people to come out and try it. He and his son Tim, 11, would eventually like to get a group or groups go- ing every Sunday. They'd like to run timed races with four vehi- cles on the track at one time.
