Although there ara no Kinsmen clubs in ofher countries, the Kinsmen belong to the World Council of Young Mens Service Clubs, and through this organization they hav e@ contributed to worthwhile charifabie projects throughout the world. Kinsmen began on February 20,.192) when It was founded by Mr. Harold A. Rogers In Hamilfon, Ontario, The clubs really blossomed during -World Wart! when millions of dollars in aid was ralsed to support the war effort. Nationally, the clubs built the _ Kinsmen Nationa/ Institute on Mental Retardation at York University in Toronte. They have also con- tributed fo andi worked on a number of national drives such as the annual blood donar blitz. ; _ Bach of the seven districts in the association also have a major prolect, and the district comprising British Calumbia maintains: the Kinsmen - bo Rehabilitation Foundation in Vancouver. ; The club is limited to young men between the ages of 21 4040.
