RECOMMENDATION: _ | _
(1) That "No Parking at Any Time” Testrictions be placed along the PE,
frontage of 1702 and 1706 Oughton Drive as shown in the at tuched

sketch. i
(2) That the City Clerk be dir .

ected to prepare an amendment to the a af
Traffic Bylaw to reflect these restrictions,

(3) That $160 be allocated from the 1990 Public Works Capital Budget to
cover the cost of installing the signs.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS: rn

Oughton has a curb to curb width of 6.35 metres with parking prohibited on the ar: Ok,
north side at all times, and on the south side from December 1 to March 18. . : oS

When vehicles are parked along the south side of Oughton, drivers are required oe 7 oe

to share a single lane for beth directions of travel. This does not
ordinarily pose a problem except at the curve where oncoming vehicles cannot
be seen until the last moment.
