BYLAW NO. 2037 A Bylaw for the levying of rates for Municipal, MAY 7 i984 Hospital, and Regional District purposes for the year 1984, MAY 14 1984 The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: The following rates are hereby imposed and levied for the year 1984: (a) For all lawful general purposes of the municipality on the assessed value of jand and improvements taxable for general municipal purposes, rates appearing in column "A" of the Schedule attached hereto and forming a part hereof. For debt purposes on the assessed value of land and improvements taxable for general municipal purposes, rates appearing in column "Bt of the Schedule attached hereto and forming a part hereof. For hospital purposes on the assessed value of Jand and improvements taxable for regicnal hospital district purposes, rates appearing in column "Ct of the Schedule attached hereto and forming a part hereof. For purposes of Greater Vancouver Regional District on the assessed value of land and improvements taxable for regional hospital district purposes, rates appearing in column "D" of the Schedule attached hereto and forming a part hereof. N The minimum amount of taxation upon a parcel of real property shal! be the amount provided by statute. , (a) At the close of business on the 6th day of July, 1984 the Coliector of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam shall add to the unpaid taxes of the current year, in respect of each parcal of land and the improvements thereon upon the real property tax roll, five percentum (54%) of the amount then remaining unpaid. At the close of business on the 7th day of September, 1984 the Collector of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam shal! add to the unpaid taxes of the current year (exclusive of the five percentum addition authorized by subsection (a) of this section), in respect of each parce! of land and the Improvements thereon upon the real property tax rol!, a further five percentum (5%) of the amount then remaining unpaid.
