Dear Mayor § Council:

May we have the permission of your Council to conduct a door-to
door Campaign the week of January -29th to February 4th, 1978.

This campaign known for twenty-four years as the Kinsmen Mothers’
March, is the main source of revenue for the Kinsmen Rehabilitation.
Foundation of British Columbia.

The Kinsmen Rehabilitation Foundation provides a multitude of
services directly to the physically handicapped of British Columbia,
as well as providing selective funding to a number of projects or
small organizations which offer specific and specialized services to
the various groups of the physically disabled. oo

The Mothers' March, will be conducted by Volunteers who normally
live in the block which they canvass. The normal time is from 6:00 p.m.
to 9:00 p.m. on the week nights and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday
‘January 29th. Each Marcher has -an individually numbered kit and a
large lapel label to clearly identify her.

Should there be any question you wish to ask, please do not’ hes-
