ail of which are to be shared in the manner Provided above;

3. Any alterations, addi tions or improvements to the Justice
Building, or the acquiring of further lands, shall be approved by both
parties before inclusion in the budget. After approval such alterations,
additions or improvements shall then be Financed in accordance with the
Annual Budget and included therewith. Al) other capital items or
expendable operationa} matters shal] be included in the Annual Budget, and
Shall be shared ta accordance with the Provisions of this agreement.

4, Subject to the budget and the administrative Procedures of the
District, all administrative procedures shall be directed by the Civitan
Staff Supervisor for the District, or that person's delegate, who shall
authorize al} expenditures, Purchases, cause the budget to be Prepared,
administer the approved budget, obtain the necessary employees, and who
shall communicate such matters which concern the operations of the Justice
Building to the Municipal Manager for the District and the Administrator for
the City for transmission to their respective Counctls when necessary;

§. The Civilian Staff Supervisor for the District shal] Provide to
the parties a report on the operations of the Justice Building at least once
in each calendar year, which report shall reflect the financial operation
and any other matters which may touch and concern the administration of
justice. This report shal} hot be in Substitution for the regular Police
reports provided to the parties fron time to tine;

6. The District shal] insure the building, furniture, and equipment,

and shall declare the interests of the parties as they may from time to time

exist;

8 The City shat] have the right to use and occupy in conjunction

with the District the Safd lands and building for Purposes of operating

and maintaining a Police service and adninistration of the Justice
Building; ;

9. The City shal} Pay to the District its Share of the costs as
aforesaid; Provided, however, that in the event of termination of this
agreement that a Pro-rated amount shal] be applied for the year the
agreement fs terminated;

710. Subject to the accounting administrative Procedures of the City
and the District, all fines and assessments that are received and are
applicable shal) be Credited to the Jurisdiction where the offence
occurred, and shall be used to offset each jurisdiction's respective costs;
n. This agreement shali be for a Period of one (1) year fron the
date of execution hereof, provided however, that it shall be extended every
year for an additional year unless either Party within sixty (60) days of
the date of renewal gives notice that they desire to terminate the agreement;
2, In the case where the agreement is terminated the City may
request the District to Purchase its interest in and to the said buflding
at cost less depreciation, and if the District fails to purchase within
One Hundred and Twenty (120) days after termination, then the City shat}
have the right to purchase the building under the same terms and
conditions and if the City and the District fail to Purchase, then the
building shall be jcintly occupied, but each Party shall carry on its own
administration and shall have an area proportionate to its interest in it
from the time it exists;

J3. Both parties hereto agree te do everything necessary to ensure
that the terms of this agreement take effect;

14, The parties hereto, and each of them covenant and agree that each
of them shal] and will, upon the reasonable request of the otner oarzy;
make, do, execute, or Cause to be made, done or executed, at] such further

and other lawful acts, deeds, things, devices, by-laws and resolutions, and
