latter question with the Water Resources Branch and they have indicated that
the application for dyking works should stay in the name of the City of Port.
Coquitlam at this time and: that subsequent arrangements could be made to turn
the Dyking District over to the G.V.S.&.D.D..

In view of the foregoing,the Finance Committee recommends that we request the
Greater Vancouver Sewage and Drainage District to undertake a study of the
drainage area and the Coquitlam Dyking District and recommend an appropriate
method of cost sharing between the District and the City of Port Coquitlam.for
the operation and maintenance of

(a) the present dyking and drainage system and

(b) the system proposed by the Bonham Report.

The Study to cost approximately $2,000.00 which would be shared 50/50 with
the City and the District, and that we not request the G.V.S.&.D.D.. to declare
“a.drainage area at this time but that this Matter be discussed at some future
date.
