The City Administrator, in his report, stated that in review- ing the matter, the City Engineer was of the opinion that the 66' road allowance presently existing on Chester Street is adequate for the foreseeable future and that while creating an additional cul-de-sac exiting onto Chester Street from the proposed subdivision is adding another intersection to the block, the repiotting of the area as proposed by the developer has advantages that offset the disadvan- tage of an additional street at this location. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: That as recommended in a report from the Land Sale Committee, August 2nd, 1974, the City~owned land on Chester Street be offered for sale and the portion of Perth Street necessary for the proposed development of property fronting thereon be abandoned and also offered for sale provided that it can be incorporated in with Lots 4 to 10 of Block 1, Plan 2364.
