Several radio stations announced the sale and CBC T.Y. filmed on opening day for their Vaneouver Life show on November 25th at 7.30 p.m. Cable 10 had some equipment problems but did finally get some filming done. Special Events: Four were planned for the show at Robson Square - On November 23rd Frank Wallbank of The Egg chop demonr- strated appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, terrines, pate, using stoneware ani porcelsin platters and dishes, Rete Mackay demonstrated her style of Ikabana using a variety of stoneware vessels. On Noyember 26th Ron Suzuki pave a lively workshop on the preparation of sushi. He used and praised the many attractive sushi dishes that were in the show. Kathy Meyers used two microwave ovens kindly loaned to us by The Hudsovs Bay Co. to prepare a variety of dishes on November 28th. She made French onion soup, a chicken Casserole, rice casserole, and a pumpkin pie using stone- ware and pore elain dishes for thé mixing and baking of al] these recipes.
