DAKIN, | Leo Paul with concer, he passed away peacefully on September 25th, 2005 in Kelowna, British Columbia, Pau! grew up on a farm in Atmore, Alberta and married Valerie (Gosselin) on November 11, 1946. . They spent the next fifty eight wonderfully full and happy years together in Terrace, Fort McMurray ond Kelowna. Paul had a few sayings and beliefs that epitomize his philosophy on life. He had a marvelous mechanical mind and truly believed that if man could invent something, he could take it apart, put it hack together and make it run better. The word “can’t” was not in his vocabulary. He would always tell his children and grandchildren that “if something is worth doing, it is worth doing right”. Paul was a big man with o big laugh, a big heart and a big family. He is lovingly remembered by his ten children and their spouses: Paulette (John), Jaye, Richard (Karen), Dennis (Mary), Lorne (Sylvia), Deborah (Gordon), Colin (Teresa), Poul (Jo), Peter (Randi) and Val-Ann (Robin). He also lives on through his thirty four grandchildren and (so far), fourteen gseat grandchildren. He is survived by sisters, Leonie and Emilia (Glen); brother, Bernard (Marcelle) and sister (in law), Josie. His sister, Georgette and brother, Roger made it to heaven before him: He is remembered as a gocd and true friend by many in western Canada.
