' Terrace sent onc squad to the 10 team Atom division tournament, and they came home with a bronze after winning three of four games. Terrace lost their first match 5-3 against Fort St. James. Spracklin§ actually — sig- nalled the start of a hat trick spree by Terrace, which would get two more by the cud of the tourncy. James Ingster was the next to score a hat trick on the way to a 7-2 victory over Prince George. And in their bronze medal was Terry Morris with a hat trick to lead Terrace to a 6-2 victory. “We weren’t sure what to expect from the competi- tion,’? says spokesperson Laurie Mercer, “‘But the boys did really well. I think that says a lot about Terrace Minor Hockey. They have an excellent, excellent pro- gram.” Alter the tournament, the team managed to find 13 tickels to the sold-out Cougars playoff game. ‘The kids got autographs from the players and had a great time,’ Mercer says.
