The Conference further dealt with the date of the next quarterly safety conference (February 17, 1968, in Vic- toria), the place of the next annual safety conference (Convention Hotel) and the use of “gimmicks in safety programs.” All these subjects were referred to the Regional Executive Board for final dis- position. LIGHTER SIDE A lady from the Midwest was visiting some friends in the East.
