CHALLENGER RELIEF MAP MAYOR’S PROGRAM
A SAMPLING OF RESPONSES

City of Armstrong

Council supports the revitalization of the map, but they
felt that the City of Armstrong's limited funds must be
directed to local projects. The City will post
information bulletins or circulars on their bulletin
board in an effort to help promote the map.

‘fown of Creston:

Contribution of $100.00

Town of Craston

$100 grant-in-aid made by the Town's Regional district
Director, Alderman Bill Herchmer, on behalf of the Town
of Creston. Cheque received.

Village of Belcarra

Cannot contribute financially but Support the program and

will make presence of the map known within their
community. June 14 is "Belcarra Day" and they will
provide -us with information. | |

Fort Nelson-Liard Regional District

MOVED, SECONDED & CARRIED that $500.00 be authorized to
the PNE in support of the revitalization of the Map.

Cheque received.

District of West Vancouver
Council passed the following motion:

"THAT the memo dated 1991 March 5 from the Director of
Planning and Development re: Map be received; AND THAT
the letter dated 1991 February 8 from PNE be received;
AND THAT for education purposes, West Vancouver supports
restoration; AND FURTHER THAT West Vancouver advise the
PNE that it has no significant information to be

incorporated into the map."
