Seconded by Councillor Keryluk: That Rezoning Application No. 33/94 for 2420 and 2428 Welcher Avenue be approved to proceed for rezoning from RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RM-4 (Apartment) under Section 963 of the Municipal Act subject to: Completion of a design to the satisfaction of the Municipality; Completion of the Engineering Departnent requirements to the satisfaction of the Municipality; Submission of landscaping plans to the satisfaction of the Municipality; Completion of the Building Department requirements to the satisfaction of the Municipality; Consolidation of the properties into one lot; Issuance of a Development Permit, g) Registration of a restrictive covenant to ensure that the landscaped area over the lane right-of-way is maintained by the applicant and/or future owners of the proposed building; That the Planning Department be authorized to draft Development Permit No. 34/94; That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the documents when completed subject to the conditions noted above.
